Parks Preservation is certainly part of Anchor Bay Rotary’s platform. Randy McCoy served as President of our club when we celebrated our 75th Anniversary. He and several club members thought it would be amazing to plant trees, 25 to be exact, in Pollard Park, Chesterfield, MI in celebration of this wonderful milestone. So we rolled up our sleeves, put on our work boots, grabbed our gardening tools and amassed a huge group of volunteers including 25+ students from Anchor Bay High School. So many different agencies and organizations came together to make this project become a reality. We are grateful to: ReLeaf Michigan, America in Bloom program, CN Railway, Chesterfield Township, County executives and administrators and the outstanding student volunteers along with their teachers from Anchor Bay High School.
